There really aren't so many unbreakable rules anymore... Even given it's lighter fabrication and background, I'd say that with the trim and logo fabric being in black, this bag could go from season to season.

I have this particular Smith girl and I personally like her best for fall and winter mostly for practical reasons. She is big enough and light enough to stuff an extra pair of socks, lightweight sweater, and fold up flats into her gaping jaws! Summer makes me want to go lighthearted and fun, so my precious little aqua Cupcake and my small Lexington in blue were my summer Dooneys this year.

However, having said all that, I do maintain that the best time to carry any kind of Dooney is ALL the time!
