I was the poster (or at least one of them) who started a thread here about knowing when an "as is" might be a worthy buy or not, when to purchase and when to fold..............lol........that's a song for playing cards.
This is the one I got:

Ok....I have heard all kinds of things. Sometimes they are OK. Sometimes OK, but might be missing a keyfob or wallet. Or maybe a dust bag.
Sometimes you don't get so lucky. You might be missing a shoulder strap, or there is a stain.
Some of the "new" purses can arrive that way (ugh!) so at least it's not so expensive. I think if it's the one you have always wanted, it's worth a shot.
Good luck on this!

I have always had good luck buying As Is Dooneys. Some have come with the plastic on the handles or wrapped like new. I had a missing accessory with one and called customer service and they credited a percentage of the cost of the purchase. I have been very happy with As Is products and order them frequently. If you try it I think you will be happy with what you get. I truly believe sometimes if they are not bringing back a color they sell them on As Is.

And... as is can still be returned if it doesn't pan out.

Your purse looks very nice. Hope everything you expect to receive gets to you. I never heard of ""as is"" from QVC I am new to the shopping experience here and the forums. Good luck!

My guess that some of those ""AS IS"" Dooneys are probably mine.
I keep trying to find one that doesn't kill my back. I never register the things unless I know I'm going to keep the purse.
Every Dooney I buy and return has the registration numbers still on the back inside of them just like the one's you buy.

A year or two ago I ordered an "as is" Dooney and it was perfect. I did return it, because I didn't care for the feel of it, it was too structured, but it did look pristine.
So, recently I tried again with the Dooney Logo Lock and a Tignanello. Both had claring imperfections. The Dooney had a chip in the leather right in the front and the Tig had chipped piping along the opening.
Needless to say, both went back. They were still expensive, to me, at the "as is" price, and I don't think I would have purchased either at a garage sale, to be honest.
I don't think I'll try "as is" again, because to return these cost about $15 in postage.
I know that a lot of people have good luck, it's just a gamble.

Good luck. Hope your handbag is a winner. Love the color.

If there's a cat toy inside, I'll know it's yours, annabellethecat!!!
