It does not give a good impression.

I was just thinking that. I would smack her down if she threw my $400 handbag whoever it was even if it was the insufferable lisa robertson. You can hear them fall no one is catching them. I would imagine that is what happened to the leather on my bag I sent back, it was beat up and SHOCK it was a bag that sold out. It offends me, sorry. I can not afford her Hermes bags, so don't throw my $400 bags. Sickening.

This has been discussed before. She's well aware of how it bothers people. I know this because she has directly teased by "tossing them" after these board disapproval threads, in a cheeky way. I think there is a receiver off camera, if it makes you feel better. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

No kidding. I was thinking the same thing. She is so over rated. I was so hopnig she would not be presenting the TSV....can't see the bags for having to look at her.

It doesn't when I just ordered that color and you hear the plunk of it hitting the floor. If it has a single hair wrong with it back it will go and some other idiot will get it, until it shoes up in AS IS because her inability to lay them on the floor. Its just so stupid. Lay it down, a stage hand can pick them up. Gosh it is annoying having received a tossed bag (apparently).

I think what irritates me is that, you're right, she thinks it's "funny." It comes across not only as unprofessional but simply disrespectful of the merchandise.

I don't see how any bag costs $400! Insanity at it's best. {#emotions_dlg.lol} I would have a ball tossing bags around!!!!!!

A word to the wise ain't necessary - it's the stupid ones that need the advice.

Floor samples are the "as-is" merchandise. I seriously doubt that you will be receiving one of them in your order. And I would bet that the samples are in better condition than some used handbags that find their way back into inventory when they are returned.

It gives the impression that the bags are cheap junk.

Lisa waxes rhapsodic over Dooney bags. I don't think that most people watching think she's dissing the product.

Shameful...she should be brought up on charges.{#emotions_dlg.w00t} Endangering a Dooney bag.

Those are probably all the bags that end up in the "As Is" section that are all beat up and scratched up. {#emotions_dlg.lol}

I wonder how Sue feels about the bag throwing? I didn't notice Nancy throwing any bags, but I didn't watch all the rest of the show.

Oy, this comes up from time to time. It doesn't bother me. She'd toned down the bag throwing for most of the past year, it seems, so it's curious that if she did last night she reverted to doing so. Have to admit, I don't care for the TSV so didn't stay up to watch. After checking here and seeing the same bags were presented with little new, I'm glad I didn't. Still, no, tossing the bags off the stage doesn't matter to me. Personally, I'm more annoyed that nothing is well priced and that there's not a lot of new, nor is there much EP.

I found it strange that Lisa had started doing this again too. {#emotions_dlg.confused1}

Throwing items that are sold out off the set seems so unnecessary to me. What a mess it would be if all the hosts did that with the items they are presenting!

If Lisa wants to look like she was raised w/no manners than that's on her.

When I was growing up, I was taught at an early age you don't throw things around.

I seriously doubt that anyone ordering from home will be getting one of the samples shown on TV. I find it interesting that tossing handbags to someone beyond the view of the camera is such a big deal! Who cares?...it's a TV set. I never could understand that.

However while I think the TSV is cute, once again it's a bag without an exterior pocket....why not? ...so many Dooney bags don't and that's a deal breaker for me!!

I like Lisa, she did seem a little hyper last night but I did not care for the throwing of the bags. That bothered me.

I'd far rather get one of those tossed handbags than one someone carried for a day stuffed with their stuff and returned. I did see one tossed last night - that was deliberate, probably a reaction to what gets said here, over and over.

BTW- anyone interested (sorry I don't know how to link) the Wall Street Journal has a great article today on a "condition" they call HDP (handbag paralysis) complete with pictures. Believe it or not, there have even been universities studies about it.

I laughed when I saw her doing that. The word zany comes to mind.

Stayed up to watch the show..saw the host in a preview and immediately went off to bed. I thought Mary Beth would be the host. I do not country club or visit 5th avenue!

While I don't believe any Dooneys were harmed in the making of this presentation, it does seem a little awkward to one moment wax poetic over the luxury of them & the next give them the ol' heave ho.

Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts.

I thought it was AWFUL also !!! Know Sue Clifton doesn't appreciate it. When you pay that much for a bag, you certainly don't want to see it tossed off the set like that......It is so disrespectful of Sue and the product. I think Sue should be presenting these bags ALONE. You can't hear what she is saying for Lisa talking about NOTHING and looking at herself in the camera! ENOUGH.... Could not wait until SHE got off the air......Thought about purchasing one, but when the throwing started, I decided against it........Have seen this before and didn't like it....Surprised QVC allows such behavior as this.........I felt badly for Sue.......
