In the scheme of things, this story is meaningless but it was sad to me and I know you ladies will understand - We are doing renovations to our 1860s home and one of the areas is our back foyer .... my DH failed to tell me the other night that I couldn't enter our house that way because the person who is laying the marble tile had put some sort of sticky grout on the floor first ...... you can guess the rest - I came into the house (in the dark) and immediately started to slide across the floor with my flap satchel, my tote bag, etc., etc. Ended up falling down and ruined several items, including the purse as it was COVERED in grout - I couldn't take it out to the trash - I asked my husband to do it. I consoled myself with 2 Ninas the next day but it was hard to lose a florentine in that manner! Happy Holidays Ladies!
