{#emotions_dlg.biggrin} Has anyone gotten one of his pieces yet! I'm dying to know the answers. I like Affinity but most are mill grain and just tiny diamonds or pave that they all really look like dust that has been glued together.

Most of the reviews are positive. My husband offered to buy me the one with sapphire stones (love it!) but I told him no.

Any reason you told your DH no? If you love it and someone else is willing to buy it why say no?

Being practical. Want vs. need. He would buy me anything I asked for whether it was affordable or not. He's just that way.

I had tried a few when they came out last fall, when a local jeweler told me I wouldn't be able to have my engagement ring reset. They were all gorgeous, and in my opinion, worth every cent. The gold presence was substantial- reminded me of the beautiful gold settings the q sold years ago. For sentimental reasons, DH decided we should make one more attempt to reset my stone, and that one worked. I would have been thrilled to wear any of the Beaudry rings I tried as an engagement ring, however.

{#emotions_dlg.blushing} We have a dog that developed cancer this past Christmas. She has an oncologist, an opthamologist (the cancer showed up in her eyes), a dermatologist and an internal medicine specialist. She's been top priority ever since and everything else takes a back seat. Her continued care will always come first. Certainly before any bauble I might have a passing fancy for.{#emotions_dlg.wub}

I'm so sorry to hear about your pet. You can best bet my prayers will be with you and your family at this difficult time. I'm a huge animal lover, and I wish nothing but good results for your dog for a long and happy life with your family.{#emotions_dlg.wub}

Thanks, Bling.

She's been in remission since her first chemo treatment back in early January. She didn't complete all of the protocol though because she developed pancreatitis right before Memorial Day and we had to stop chemo. Long story short, per her internal medicine doc she saw last week she is doing well! On a scale of 1-10 he gave her an 8 as far as healthy. Her opthamologist also said she is doing well and her eyes, with the exception of one small ulcer, are healthy. We were concerned in the beginning that she would go blind, and when they told me she wasn't, it was like I'd won the lottery.

She's come a long way since the diagnosis of Stage 5 lymphoma. She may not be 100% but we see a lot of her personality coming through, and she's still got some diva in her. She is my heart, and every day with her is a blessing.

I've always said I would do whatever it takes for my babies, and she continues to test that. Bless her little furry heart. LOL

I agree RCG, your priorities are spot on! Best wishes that the good reports continue.
