What happened to AnnaLisa of Clarks Shoes?

Started 1371856804.82 in Clarks | Last reply 1382824445.26 by Oneanddone

I really liked the guest Clarks Shoes had - AnnaLisa - she had been a model for QVC before joining the Clarks team. No offense meant to the current Clarks rep - but I thought AnnaLisa was so much better. Anyone know what happened there?

I don't know what happened to her either, but I really liked her. I wish that she was doing the Clarks shows again.

I enjoyed her presentations and thought that she was a great spokesperson for the company. Not sure what happened to her!!

This new girl/rep. reminds me so much of Courtney Cason. I was going to start a new discussion, asking if any posters see a resemblance in voice mannerisms and the melody in which she talks..........So similar, they could be sisters? Or related?

I miss AnnaLisa too. I wish QVC would let us know when reps are departing. They are in my living room every day. I feel like I know them and then poof....they disappear with no explanation.

I liked her the best of all the reps. There were a lot of disgruntled posters who voiced their opinion when they took Steve off and brought Annalise in; they did not like her and they really booed her. I like her better than goofy Steve.

I've been complaining about the Clarks rep on the Fashion Forum (other complaints about them there, too). I even wrote to Clarks headquarters (via email) asking about Steve and Annalisa but never got a response. What is her last name - maybe we can "google" to find her. I just know this Amy is a poor replacement.

Glad to find others who are asking questions.

Ana Lisa had a hard act to follow when she replaced Steve, who has/had a tremendous following. I think that accounts for some negative feedback she may have received. I loved her presentations and felt her looks, great speaking voice and refined mannerisms added a touch of class that meshed so well with a sensible shoe line like Clarks. I went to the boards at least twice to voice support for her. We get what we get sometimes. I am asking for a third time that Clarks return Ana Lisa to the fold, if anyone is reading this. If she has already found better employment, then congratulations and hope she makes the big bucks she deserves. Selling is an art, and some just do it better than other.

As Amy or Courtney would say "I TOTALLY see the same mannerisms".

Annalisa Del Kane. I believe that's her name. I loved her and don't care at all for the current rep. But then - I'm so sick of Clarks already. They are all the same IMO and I'm sick of them. Steve got promoted and doesn't do vendor spots anymore from what I heard.

Cannot stand this vender especially her voice, although I do like some of the shoes, so I just put her on mute.

they both have that terrible whiney voice that drives me crazy! If Courtney is on, I just have to change the channel.

I don't know what it is but I have seen so many young women with that whiney type voices! What happened to calm, nice voices?

I too liked Annalisa; preferably I wish Steve was back. He must be too busy at Clarks to get away.

I agree that all the Clarks shoes look the same.
I am totally sick of watching orthaheel shoes also.

I could not wear orthaheel at all; threw them all out. they killed my back and hip

I switched to Birkenstock shoes, which have several titles under their domain and love them.

I don't know why the Q doesn't sell more of them; I have to look on websites

I noticed a new woman spokesperson for Clark's on fashion day in the Midnight hour. She has brown hair and wasn't annoying.

THERE IS HOPE! Maybe she can replace the blonde one that is most annoying that they have now.

I did a little online research, and AnnaLisa and Clark's parted company in Feb. 2013. : (

I have quit watching the Clark's shows because of that rep. She drives me crazy - bobs her head constantly and her voice is difficult to listen to.

I did hear her say awhile back that Steve was going to be back on QVC in September, so maybe he is going to do the TSV that is planned. I hope he is back permanently.

Clark's made exclusively for QVC are a totally different shoe than the "Clark's" brand. I visited the Clark's Store in Boston and loved the product. Like a lot of brands that enter into a sales agreement with the Q they dummy down their product to sell to the masses. Very sad. I am fortunate to have a Clark's outlet close by and get the real Clark's at good prices. Love the brand. Not so much at the Q. Pats

They had Alayna Pagano on for Clarks the other day and she was great! So glad the blonde was not on. QVC should have Alayna present Clarks from now on.

I am not sure it is the vendor (e.g., Clarks) that hires the representative. One of the last times the blonde girl was on with Clarks, she mentioned having to audition for QVC and Carolyn Gracie said something about being one of the people who was there during her audition.

It made it sound like QVC auditions and hires the vendors...who knows.

I often put QVC on and listen to it while I'm doing other things around the house. That is one of the reasons, why the vendors' and show hosts' voices are important to me. It is very irritating and annoying when someone speaks so that every sentence sounds like a question. Unfortunately, the Clark's rep has that type of voice. I've found many younger people speak that way today. I'm not sure where it comes from (sounds Valley-girlish) and wish QVC would train their hosts AND vendors to speak differently.

By the way, QVC does hire some vendors. A friend's cousin was asked to do a presentation years ago even though she had no connection to the product. I think her next door neighbor worked for QVC.

The Clark's rep, Amy, is on now and yes, she does whine a bit. I think it is just her accent. Time to hit the mute button.

She just said, "Totally!" LOL.

Where's Steve who used to do Clark's all the time? I miss watching him - Steve's a hoot and it seemed like most if not all of the hosts really liked working w/ him. I miss Steve!

Steve Mahoney was promoted to a higher muckety muck status at Clarks. From what we know his present duties don't allow time for him to be the on air rep anymore. Poor AnnaLisa had the misfortune to be the first one out of the gate when she went "upstairs." Unfortunately his fans had not been prepped for his departure and some of them were very unkind and unwelcoming to AnnaLisa.

As a result of this childish pouting Clarks and QVC must have pulled AnnaLisa and brought in Amy. All I will say is Amy is another one who could benefit from a vocal coach. When a voice annoys me I turn it off. As a result although I continue to buy quite a few Clarks shoes not one pair has been purchased from QVC in quite a while. I can't remain tuned in long enough to see everything and make a purchasing decision.

By the way the young brunette has been with Clarks for a while. She was always Steve's stand-in and I don't understand why she was passed over for being Clarks' primary rep when Steve was promoted. She's to have a pleasant manner, seems to know the shoes well enough, and has a clear non irritating speaking voice.

I just came across Steve Mahoney on The Shopping Channel out of Canada. He was still representing Clark's.

I read Analisa was modeling on a Dooney show a couple of nights ago.

I can't watch Amy. Her voice annoys me beyond belief.
