I purchased 4 luminara mercury glass candles after having watched the original presentation that said they were remote control capable. The 4 I received do not work with the remote. I know to put them in the ON position when using the remote. Susan Mathews has stated on FB that they do work with the remote. Please reply whether yours DO or DO NOT work with the remote. I am debating whether to send mine back as defective. They are beautiful candles but I want the remote feature if indeed they are remote capable. Thank you.

I don't have remotes for mine, but if they were advertised to work that way, and aren't, I would call Q's customer service and ask for a partial refund because the product isn't performing as promised.
They sometimes do give partial refunds when a product arrives partially missing or damaged or working, and I'd consider this to fall under that category.
