What kind of Candles are as bright as Lightbulbs?

They need to be super light and bright.

What type of candles? Pillars, tapers, or votives? I would guess that Luminara are going to be the brightest.

Light bulbs have different wattages, hence, different brightness. How many watts do you want to match? I don't know of any candles that come close to light bulbs of any wattage, though.

No such thing. You need a candelabra with several candles to approach the brightness of a bulb. That's what they did back in the olden days when they needed to light a room at night. Single candles were used more like flashlights or reading lights.

You'd need a room full of candles to equal a lightbulb.

Think about it . . . it's a single small flame, regardless of the type of candle.

Yep, it's just not possible. If you've ever been camping think about a campfire - not even a roaring campfire provides the same kind of light as a modern lightbulb.

You can buy electric candles that plug in........they take any wattage candelabra base lightbulb

I saw some LED flameless candles that are bright. Batteries don't last too long from what I was told by the salesperson but they give off a bright light. I have luminara candles that are pretty bright.
