BL 8" Aqua Flame Flameless Candles

Started 1376401413.82 in Candles | Last reply 1378677662.603 by BornToShop
I just finished my flameless candle show recording that was on at 1am today. Item #H200455 has really peaked my interest. My favorite feature besides the fountain would be the adapter option for those of suffering from battery fatigue. I am thinking about trying one in either the sand or blue color. Anybody else catch the show and see this candle?

Yes, saw it and thought it was a neat idea. I decided to wait until the reviews come in before buying.

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim Soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

I watched the show BornToShop and thought it was interesting. I also liked the plug in feature. I did not order but I'd be curious to read reviews after they start coming in. Are you going to order?

Mallemo; I'm doing everything in my power to NOT order yet. I love the concept and the adapter is the deal sealer for me. Since the other option is 3 D batteries and if it didn't come with the adapter, I would not order it. I love the sound of water but the HR flame cadence can be a bit spastic. They are a substantial size which doesn't help my case. The Sand color would be my choice. My mom ordered the blue. What to do, what to do...!

Desertdi, I did, and thanks for making that point and it is a valid one. We'll see what the reviews say, I hope they are good.

I didn't see the presentation, but saw it when I was looking at candles. It looks interesting. I am a little shy of buying BL candles. I had issues with other ones and swore I'd only buy CI ones from now on. I'll be interest in the reviews.

This was on this morning. I didn't realize it was an advanced sale item, but it ships next week. I don't understand the advanced sale items. Why not wait until it gets in inventory. Anyway, i caved and ordered one. It sold out and they'll have another advanced sale for the end of sept. I liked the fact that you could run it with batteries or electric and could use it with or without water.

Couldn't you just rinse it once in a while? Or put a tiny bit of vinegar in it?

I usually have a small fountain going in my home all the time but have never had slime or mold. My worse problem is remembering to keep water in it. I think the sound this candle/fountain makes would be insignificant which defeats the purpose in having it.

In the presentstion they said you could adjust the sound by the water level. Less water, more sound. I'm buying it because it's a unique candle. Not sure how i feel about the noise level until i hear it. I'm okay if it's not really loud and know what to do if it is.

My two concerns are; the size, it looked substantial on TV. My other concern would be the random flickering cadence and some vendors have too much of a spastic flicker. No one has better "flickering" than CI. I just checked and all colors are out and cannot be ordered. You can bet this will be a TSV at some point. For all of you lucky enough to get one, please post your reviews.

I will purchase one in the future I know. They were cool. Candles and water, what a great mix!

I'm with you mima! Water and candles are an awesome combination. I can't wait for the reviews to come out. I could kick myself for not ordering. I'm sure we haven't heard the last of these candles.

Will anyone who was lucky enough to get the aqua flame candles please post reviews? Since they are no longer available, reviews will not be accessible. I am hoping this will be a TSV in the future.

Has anyone else received a dud? My mom ordered it and received it the other day. She put in brand new batteries and nothing worked. She also tried using the plug-in cord that came with it and still nothing. She asked me to try it for her to make sure she followed the directions in the placement of the batteries so I did and still no light nor water sound. I then tried the cord also myself and still nothing. LOL! I think she received a dud. It is a surprisingly large candle with real wax on the exterior of it and the color apricot is very pretty, however, it just doesn't work. Really disappointed because she wanted to use for her Fall decor. Well, it looks like this is going back. There are some 5 star reviews posted under the candle so I guess these customers received working candles. Such a pain for her to have to send back, however, she has ordered from Bethlehem Lights in the past with products not working so she's not all that surprised with this company.

I forgot to add that my cousin ordered this candle too but in the green and I called and asked her if hers worked and she said the light was only functioning, not the water pump. She is disappointed as well.

Leogrl, I would be real disappointed too. I am concerned with the fact your cousin did not have a good one either. I am also hesitant when 5 Star reviews are immediately given when there has not been any time to "test drive" before submitting a factual and realistic rating. The verdict is still out for me on this item.

I know... it's such a gamble anymore with certain products especially with Bethlehem Lights. She has quite a few Candle Impressions around her house that she never had any problems with whatsoever and some she has had for several years. Oh well, it's a good concept of a candle if it only worked. I'm curious too and hope to see if anyone else posts if their candle works.

I jumped when I saw these but composed myself and decided to hold off. I'm very guarded with BL as several years ago I had an issue with another product . I loved that product so much I ordered multiple sets that they said would last for years. To my horror, they all died, LEDs and all. I'm cautious with their new technologies.

Hopefully this link will work and you'll be able to read the reviews (including mine). I received my Aqua Flame on Friday and love it! I really hope they come back in stock.

Thanks for posting the link to the reviews.

I really loved the look of that candle -- It's so different from anything else I've seen on here. I'm glad the reviews are wonderful. I'm sure they will bring them back. Maybe in time for the holidays...

I ordered one on advanced order. I wonder why they aren't taking more advanced orders?

My mom just her blue one and she is ecstatic! She said it is substantial in size. She is going to do the batteries first to test the longevity. The cool thing is the adapter makes it even better in case it is a battery eater. Mima, I'm thinking it will be a TSV before the holidays or soon after. Please post when you get yours!

I just received mine this morning, and I love it! I bought it specifically to put on a patio table so while enjoying my garden, I would have the "babbling brook" effect. I hope they are brought back, because I can see using them elsewhere in the house.

I cannot decide. It is a big candle. It is a noisy candle...no matter the water level and it splashes water droplets. Just don't know ifI want to keep. Bought 3 colors..opened one. What do others think?
