I'm searching everywhere about the candles lit for Passover. Can someone tell me is there a specific number of candles to be lit??

From what I remember it's the same two candles you'd light for shabbat or any yom tov. Here is a link to the prayers for the difference occasions.

jaxsmom is correct. Even though Passover is an 8 day holiday, unlike Hanukkah, you do not light candles each night. Traditionally, 2 candles are lit the first 2 nights and the last 2 nights. Many people only light on the first 2 nights, but more orthodox jews light the 4 nights. Even when Shabbat falls on one of those days you still only light 2 candles, but you say 2 prayers over the lighting of them.

Do you need something you can serve with dairy, or a meat meal? Have you considered cauliflower or potato to make a vegetable kugel? I think something along the lines of:
2 onions shredded and browned with 1/2 cup mushroom,
2 large carrots shredded
1 head cauliflower chopped, boiled for 15 minutes, drained, mashed, drained again (your goal is get out all moisture)
3 eggs
dill
minced garlic
2 tablespoons potato starch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 pepper
1 tsp smoked parika
After cauliflower is dealt with, combine with other ingredients to moisten. Transfer to an 8 x 8 baking pan and bake at 400 for 40-60 minutes (check to prevent burning).
- if you wanted to make it dairy add cream cheese, if meat, use chicken stock.

Thanks again!! Just asking...do you light only at sun down?? Just thinking, it gets dark later, so can I light before sun down?? I feel all this is done in remembrance, so if I'm off an hour, is that ok??
