Is grapefruit juice o.k. to take with vitamins?

Since it's labeled on some meds not to take with grapefruit juice, I'm wondering if it's ok with vitamins?? I don't take much anymore, but maybe a co q 10, and a multi. Just asking because sometimes I'll have grapefruit juice with breakfast, and take vitamins.

I don't think you would know...I believe it has to do with absorption.

I'd take them with water to be certain I'm getting the full effectiveness.

Milk and grapefruit juice can affect how things are absorbed. Best to take meds and the like with water. Then eat and drink the juice.

I don't know about vitamins. They tend to make me a little queasy, so I always take them with water and eat something immediately after.

However, I do have 2 prescription medicines that have labels on the bottle that say, "Do Not Take With Grapefruit Juice". I've never aked the pharmacist why since I'm not a grapefruit juice drinker.
