I bought some pretty red lipstick and wore it around the holidays, it was fun.

It's Bobbi Brown's Sultry Red lipstick.

I love M A C viva glam.

Can't wear red. Have tried lots of shades.

Urban Decay's Super Saturated in F-Bomb. Creamy and non-drying with lots of staying power.

I use Chanel Monte Carlo. Its a shiny sheer lip color that looks great all year long.

Hot Tahiti - sheer and buildable neutral red that works on anyone

Ruby Woo - Light, bright matte - blue-based red

Lady Danger - Light, bright matte - orange-based red

Russian Red - Deeper, bright matte - blue-based red

NARS Cosmetics

Heatwave - orange-based red

Jungle Red - bight, semi-matte red

Dragon Girl - cherry red, matte - blue-based

Dolce Vita - sheer, rosy, buildable red that works on anyone


MAC lipsticks are more ubiquitous, but I prefer the formula of NARs lipsticks. These are all great reds. Dolce Vita and Hot Tahiti are my favorites to wear because they look good without being too RED LIPSTICK bold. They can help get you comfortable with a red lip. The others are all great siren/pin-up reds.
