YES Hair Removal on other channel

Has anyone used this? What's the benefit over an electric shaver? Thanks!

Re: YES Hair Removal on other channel

There are at least 2 other shopping channels that many of us watch. We will not be poofed if we say their names. The hair removal device mentioned by the original poster is being offered on the channel soon to be officially called EVINE Live (formerly ShopHQ).

Another shopping channel is HSN.

There. I said both names and this thread still is here.

EVINE Live (ShopHQ) and HSN; EVINE Live (ShopHQ) and HSN; EVINE Live (ShopHQ) and HSN; EVINE Live (ShopHQ) and HSN; EVINE Live (ShopHQ) and HSN.

EDIT - Thank you, Shelbelle, for reminding us (me!) that the name is being changed We still won't be poofed for saying the name. Wink

""YES"" hair removal is the brand? Wasn't here also a brand called ""NO NO""?! Will they come out with a ""MAYBE"" next?!!

This product is about $200 less than the NO NO, has to be a difference somewhere.

Re: YES Hair Removal on other channel

They aren't officially changing the name to EVINE Live until Saturday. They are really making a big deal about it and will be broadcasting from New York. The hosts still call the channel ShopHQ. Heather addressed this last night. But if you type in www.shophq.com , it switches over to evine and the entire website has been changed.

Fran Drescher is the celebrity spokesperson for this product and they make fun of the name NoNo during her spiel. She says something along the lines of "why say No when you can say yes." It's very cheesy.

This product has some kind of sensa light technology and removes hair instantly and it's supposed to be painfree and not smelly. Eventually, according to the website for this product, the hair is supposed to grow in thinner and thinner. This can also be used anywhere, on any body part from head to toe.

It is made by Finishing Touch which makes those personal shavers.

I don't really get how this is different from an electric razor?

No No is a laser device which ultimately prevents hair from regrowing in the spots where you use the unit. Yes, is just a glammed up electric razor with a light. It has a blade, and does not permanently remove hair over time. In fact, if one gets past the deceptive ads which smartly imply it like No No -- but (to avoid lawsuits) never actually use the words "permanent hair removal" -- it's clear that Yes is not an alternative for spending $200 on No No. The only thing Yes is an alternative for is Norelco and Shick.
