Does Anyone Remember Cornsilk?

Cornsilk was a pressed powder that went on translucent and absorbed oil. I used it regularly when my skin was an oil slick.

Is there anything on the beauty market now that is comparable?

I think you can still buy it at CVS. Back toward the back of beauty, by the Sally Hansen products. It might just be the loose powder, but I know I have bought one for my mother in the past year. Can't remember now if it was loose or pressed. Might check ebay, too!!

I used it for years but haven't seen it lately.

I just googled Cornsilk. Several places are selling it on Amazon. It comes in both loose and pressed powder.

I remember they also made a lovely liquid foundation. I wonder why they quit making it.

My mother used to use this. There are so any good powders available now...I would think that'd it'd be easy to find a replacement.

Vermont Country Store carries it. They are my go-to for things long gone. They even found a way to bring this stuff back from the 70s:

That's why I'm asking for a replacement!

Thanks everyone!

Chynna, I remember that shampoo from my childhood! My Mom never used it, but I think there was a commercial. It came after "cuckoo for cocoa puffs!"
