It would be so hard to only list 3, I am so thankful for so many things.
1. At this moment in time, I am truly thankful for my surgeon's gifted skill. I had 2 total hip replacements in the past 6 months and am recuperating from the last one. Due to his marvelous skills, I have small incision scars from the procedures, no infections of any kind, and a positive outlook for the rest of my walking life. I am so very grateful!!!
2. Secondly, my husband is truly a saint! We have been married for 50 years this next July 2015. I have loved him every moment for these 50 years and the 4 years in college. I can't imagine my life w/o him. He treats me like a queen and these past 6 months he has gone way above his vows. It has been really tough on him and he always manages a smile and kind encouraging words.
3. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren. I am so thankful for each of the for different reasons but can't imagine a world w/o them either. They are beautiful, gifted, intelligent, and kind. How did one Mom get so lucky?

1) Hubby just got a job after being laid off last Christmas from his decades long position. The new job is with a quality worldwide company at a good salary with good benefits (lots of prayers from a lot of people went into that outcome).
2) For many years I had doubted if our marriage would hold up. Now that we went through the fire of losing our main source of income and survived without tearing each other apart (and we actually grew closer in the process), I realize that we are both in this marriage forever.
It was a rough year working through everything. But, it ended on a high note.
