Does anyone use any the Makeup Eraser-type products? I am trying to get away from using so many products on my sensitive skin and wonder if these are any better than just a plain old washcloth. I am aware of Makeup Eraser, Norwex Makeup Removal Cloths (second image), and Wonder Cloth. Overpriced washcloths? Or worthwhile products? Your reviews would be appreciated! TIA.

I have the Norwex version and love it. It feels so much better on my skin than a rough washcloth. But I still use a cleanser first (Skinn Olive Oil or Wen Body Cleansing) and then use the damp Norwex cloth to dry off. I think it gets that last residue off my skin. This routine removes ALL of my makeup with no other products necessary.

BTW, I think the WEN BCC makes an awesome mascara remover! I don't like to use the WEN hair cleanser on my eyes because of the menthol, mint, etc.

I forgot to mention that the Norwex cloths are rather small. I wish they would double the size and they would be perfect! But the small size works.

Vamp, I use just a regular microfiber cleansing cloth that I bought in a pack of 10 from Target. I haven't used any of the three you mentioned. I just get my cloth wet with plain water and wash my face. It gets off every stitch of make-up (I take my mascara, eye make-up off with baby oil first). I go over my skin with my toner and there isn't a stitch of foundation, blush, etc left!

Thanks, KJPA and GmaJewele. Kiss

I thought the Norwex cloths looked kind of small, too. And I also wondered how they are any different from other microfiber cloths. I may try a few different ones to see what I like...but I wish they weren't so expensive! Norwex isn't too bad: 3 for around $20 but the MU Eraser is around $20 for one! Seems ridiculous! It is bigger than the Norwex, but still...

I bought DOC cloths , a whole pile of them in different sizes, that are made from bamboo , some with other woods. They have a really rough texture when dry and swell up when you wet them. They demonstrated taking off even bulletproof makeup with just the cloth and water. They aren't the same as microfiber at all. I use them constantly now because they resist microbes and don't mildew like cotton. When I think they've served their purpose and need washing I throw them away. (I do the same with the really cheap washcloths you get for like 30 for 5 bucks. When the mascara won't wash out and they're dingy, I toss them because they cost less than paper towels to use.) I got them on HSN but they're available elsewhere i'm sure. The important thing, because there are now copy cats that aren't the same, is that they are 100% renewable source wood products, no synthetics they're called "100% wood product rayon" on the tag. You might like them if you don't mind a bit of a rough texture. They're used for household purposes too. And if you're conservative, you just wash and reuse them.

Nivea face wipes are ok but I also use NoRinse cloths in the bathroom (especially after coming in from the garden and I still have things to do.) and the difference in size makes them seem costly. They dry out fast too and I waste more than I use. I buy them by bulk and keep them near the makeup chest to clean makeup brushes after every use. Cleansing this way will prevent contamination and the consequences ,like bulous acne.

If you like Argan oil, Signature club A makes argan oil makeup remover pads . They're just wipes like Dr D's and PTRoth's but they're soaked in argan oil and have baobab, the reason I LOVE them. I only use them occasionally, usually when I know I'm dehydrated, but they are inexpensive compared to Dr Denese's and the others'.

hope you find something you are happy with.

I have never seen these. They look kinda cool. Especially for a mostly lazy Beauty like me.

There is an identical product sold at Bed Bath and Beyond for half the price and always can use their coupons, Wonder Cloth.

I own the Makeup Eraser (the first picture) and have owned it since approximately March 2014. It is expensive for one - I bought it at a women's exposition show while they were doing BOGO (so I was able to get two colors!). It works wonders on eye makeup and I no longer have to purchase remover which saves me money. I only use it on the eye area but the mascara/eyeliner/eyeshadow comes off beautifully without any residue left behind from the remover. The rest of my face/makeup I wash off with regular cleaner.

It is machine washable and cleans up nicely after a week of cleaning off using it, coming out of the washer/dryer as good as new! It is well worth the $20 investment. When I bought it I was told it would be good for a year or more and I believe that this will be the case. So if I go to the expo again next year I plan on buying some more if they are still there selling the product.

These types of cloths you are referring to, they clean all the makeup off your skin - eyes and all -- without the need for any other cleanser? I would feel as though my skin weren't get deep down clean and worry that I would get clogged pores.
