Did customer input have anything to do with who won the awards last night?

I don't think so. The winners were happy, and all newer vendors. Good to give them awards to help their business grow.

But, I do not think the customers votes had a lot to do with who won. I won't ever vote again- the fix is in on this little advertising gimmick.

I never watched this award thing before and couldn't believe the number of products (the runner ups) I'd never heard of.......so no surprise - the products that are always on - WON!

I'm thinking just an opinion with no factual basis.

I don't really care which products win. I don't vote even when something I love is included, but I have low opinion of people who present as FACTS what is merely their OPINION. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, OP and me, too. Here's mine: OP has no real idea of what she writes. My opinion and I'm sticking to it.

Just curious why you'd expect anything different - more people buy what's on more; what's on more is on more because more people buy what they already know; and people like what they know, so that's what they vote for. Vicious circle, but that's life.

No, not really. It is just marketing. I stopped voting years ago & don't pay any attention to the hoopla..

NO--I really think it should be done with a live audience and each GUEST who presents should be setting in a live audience, so as to applaud those who win.

If It is to be an award then do it the right way......So many were left out.

Lisa said in the beginning of the show something to the effect that the winners were voted by customers, and that they (hosts) weren't allowed to vote. I don't know how true it is.

I don't care who won, it doesn't influence my purchases.
