I guess it's a matter of personal preference. I'm between fair and light, so I usually go with light in foundations. My pet peeve is the demarcation line between the jaw and the neck, so I make SURE any foundation I wear blends well between the two. If you're still not sure after trying some yourself, I would go to an Ulta or Sephora and ask them for advice. Tell them exactly what you want.

My nail tech is also a makeup artist and pointed out to me one day that my foundation did not match my neck. She said that we should all be wearing a warmer tone foundation because almost everyone wears their foundation too light. I did see a YouTube that suggested when matching foundation to dot it closer to ear and that gives a better match.
