I very strongly dislike that "statement" to which I was directed. Personally, I don't do well with such strictures. And that would be true regardless of my personal view regarding religion or my affiliation or lack thereof.

My most ardent objection to that statement, however, is its explicit view toward one particular group of people in our society.

And this is probably a good example of why threads that tend toward the controversial are technically not allowed under the Standards, although the moderation of such threads is not at all consistent.
