Skincare Question - Retinol &/or Matrixyl 3000

If I am using Isomers Matrixyl 3000 do I need to use a Retinol? Are they in the same family? Or two totally different things?

Thanks

Re: Skincare Question - Retinol &/or Matrixyl 3000

I'm sure you'll get some feedback from ladies on here. Since you're using an Isomers product, I would email them and see what they recommend. I would say you're interested in adding the Retiniacin even if you're interested in a different Retinol and ask if you need the two products or if the Matrixyl 3000 is enough. Make sure you give them your age and skin concerns. That will help them answer your question betterSmiley Happy

Re: Skincare Question - Retinol &/or Matrixyl 3000

Here is a description of Matrixyl from another site.

Matrixyl 3000 is an active ingredient that when used in concentrated quantities will effectively reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles over a period of a couple of months.

Here is their retinol description.

Our Pure Vitamin A (Retinol) is based on a nano- delivery system. This retinol cream unclogs pores & boosts collagen production, greatly reducing wrinkles and maximizing cell turnover. Helps to even out and plump skin for a clearer, smoother appearance.

Personally I would use one in the am and one in the pm.
