Philosophy Body Washes

In this day and age why does Philosophy have sulfates in their body washes (the 3-in-1 product)? I was under the impression that sulfates are drying to the skin or hair.

I've sworn off philosophy products ever since they told me it was okay to put synthetic fragrances in my eyes!(purity)

Funny that you mention that as I just read reviews from women stating that Purity was drying their skin. I too, had burning eyes from Purity and stopped using it.
