This is not a "steal"

well as you know from reading these forums there are many women who don't shop around and therefore do not know that it is the same price (or cheaper) elsewhere so, to them, it seems like a steal.

Exactly. And that's why it's always smart to shop around - no matter what any salesperson (QVC or anywhere else) says.

Just because they say something is the latest model, the hottest trend, the best price, or what everyone is wearing in Europe doesn't mean it's true.

I'm really surprised that so many women take this sales ploy talk at face value. Certainly we're smarter than that.

I was in TJ's today and they had tons of bottles for $12.99. I didn't buy any because they are still full of chemicals. But I did check the pricing.

I never saw 32oz that price anyplace that is usually a price for the 16oz

kcladyz is right. That is a great price for a 32 oz. of shower gel. The price you are talking about is usually for the 16 oz. size.

Please tell me what event this is? $18 for a 32 oz is a great price! Which scents are being offered at this price - I didn't see anything like this on the Philosophy page?

I just went to the Sephora web site and they only showed 16 oz and 24 oz sizes. Perhaps the OP wasn't paying attention.
