Just wondering if I'm being obsessive here. Am 62 and have lost 15 yucky pounds in the last year (combination of stress and going off sugar). In the past, I weighed myself when my pants didn't fit anymore. Now that I have that weight off, I find myself getting on the scales every morning. I guess I feel that if I gain more than 2-3 pounds, I need to watch what I eat. I do try to keep a good balance every day, eat smart, but don't feel I obsess about my current weight (I am 5'1.5 and weigh 127 pretty steady). Just wondered how frequently how ladies monitor your weight. Thanks in advance for any/all responses.

Twice a week. I'm on a very healthy eating plan and exercising a lot. Want to make sure what I'm doing continues to work as my goal is to lose a few pounds. By checking twice a week I will be able to tell how I'm doing rather then only checking once a week and wasting an entire week if changes were in order.

I don't. I have a friend who is obsessive about it. Every morning - he gets on the scale.

I like to weigh myself every Monday and Friday morning, first thing.
On Mondays, it's to see if I did any "damage" over the weekend ........ and on Fridays it's to know if I have any room for a weekend "treat".
