Did anyone see the skirt she wore that aired on April 15? It was a white fringe and very tasteful. It was about the controlling fiancée. Y'all are so good at finding out the source. I loved it and would love one like it. Thanks!

Lucky Charm: I tried to do a "google match" but I'm no good at that. Went through many searches. If you do a search for the show, at the end of the show she was telling about her skincare launch and something she did not debut on HSN is her new lipgloss. So if you find out - or anyone else - please let me know. Thanks.

Well, luvmycats, you are entitled to own opinion. I wonder where you got such a degree that you are able to diagnose a quack via the television - or do you know him personally? I would think for someone to make such a matter of fact statement would surely have it on good authority that he indeed is not for real. I do believe he just celebrated his 2000th show. How much experience do you have? I really have no opinion - I just want the skirt.

I actually googled her and saw it was dr. phil's show. I saw the youtube video of the april 15th show and saw the skirt!

Wasn't till the very end that I could really see the fringes when she was walking. I had a whole different idea of the skirt.

It was pretty, but almost formal. (maybe it was her top/blouse). I was hoping for something a bit more casual, but didn't realize it was a television show when I was l searching.

Hope you find it somehow. Isn't it awful when you see something you really like? I NEVER have the guts to go up and ask someone where they bought something that I really liked.

Lucky Charm: if you start out by admiring the item and how you'd love to have something similar, folks will most likely appreciate your compliment and proceed with how to get the item. I know I've done this many times with folks who have commented on an article I've worn, even how to achieve the white streak in my hair!!! HTH you get the confidence to share and ask!

Lucky Charm, I don't think it takes guts at all--most people are very flattered when you like their clothing (or shoes, haircut, etc.) enough to ask where they bought it/who did it, and they are more than happy to share.

Sorry, I can't help with the skirt, but as a retired therapist with advanced degrees, I'm qualified to address the 'quack' issue. I don't think Dr. Phil is a quack, but his comments, suggestions, books, etc. are basic psych 101--nothing earth shaking or new. The real trick is how he's turned himself into a psych icon--there's nothing amazing about his skills or insights, just that he has access to specialists in every field!
