Beauty Banter

I bought some Robin McGraw skin care, do you plan to buy?

I got the night cream that comes with its own brush. The packaging seemed attractive. Mrs. McGraw seemed poised and relaxed on camera. Several of her items sold out before air time. I hope this bids well for her collaboration with HSN.

I think she had advertising on Phil's show today....he is always peddling his family.... I was not impressed with the product. Just another over rated over priced skin care line. Did you read the ingredients? Not impressed!

There's another post out there and they're putting Robin through the ringer -- so sound the alarms and take cover! Hope you enjoy your purchase.

Ury

I got the mask with the brush. It sounded okay to me. I like edelweiss. A few things were sold out before they could be aired. That must have made her feel welcome.

I didn't order because I'm happy with my skincare regimen, but I saw her presentation. I agree, I thought she was very poised and relaxed. It reminded me of the Connie Stevens days when Connie would tell her girls that if they didn't have five minutes for themselves, then something is wrong. The prices seemed to be good for what you get. It looked like many items were selling out before they got to the presentation. She did go into the clinicals and about the flower. I also understand that she did want to bring something different. I did not understand what exactly was it that this flower is supposed to do. I heard a lot about hydration, but you can get that with many types of products. So that is my only critic about it. It's also my critic about many products presented on shopping channels. But overall I thought it was a good presentation.

Enjoy your purchase!Smile

Maybe soon she'll branch out a bit (if things go well), and offer makeup, too. She always looks nice and probably does her own makeup.

I wouldn't buy skin care (or anything else) from Robin McGraw if she was the last peddler on earth. Can't stand the entire family.

It's my understanding that this is her long-term goal, after developing her beauty line. As long as things go well, she may branch out into every conceivable market.

There is another post on that that was started earlier today. It mentions the TV show today where she 'introduced' the skin care line.

She introduced this in an ummm interesting? way today. On Dr. Phil's show.

I assume there was a plastic surgery program included in your purchased which would hopefully have some type of easy pay program because unless you get that, all the creams and serums and machines are not going to do a darn thing. She is a stepford wife.

I watched a bit this morning on the Dr. Phil infomercial for Robins new line and I was out when I saw lemon and orange oil in the cleanser.

She had her own dream team of hair/makeup/clothing people on the Dr Phil show earlier today, so I'm thinking she doesn't normally do it herself.

As I posted on the other post earlier today. Dr. Phil had a married couple on his show where the woman talked about how her husband constantly put her down about her weight, etc.

The woman was the bread winner and he was a stay at home husband and watched the children. The woman even went to the gym to try to loose weight. I watched it because I know some men who are like this guy.

Next thing we (the audience knows) Robin is taking the lady into the back stage and we see her transformed by Robin's "A" Team, clothes and all.

Then Dr. Phil brings Robin on stage with them and starts talking about her skin cream and how lucky this woman was to be chosen from 'all of the women in the country' to be the 'First one' to get to use it (something like that....use it).

It was the way they used this couple to introduce her face cream. Anyway, I'm not going to rehash what we all said on the post.

I'll let you guys know what I think of the night mask thingie. I have cleansers out the kazoo so I decided to get the mask at $39. Since two or three things sold out, I doubt if she has enough product for a whole show tomorrow.

I should have watched Dr. Phil today. I should have known he'd be promoting her.

I think not. I've no intention of supporting Dr. Phil and his family.

Don't just shop. Q.
