Please share your experince if you've had Invisalign?

My dentist is recommending I get Invisalign, not only for esthetic reasons but my crooked lower teeth are causing me some issues when I chew. I'm 46 and have some concerns because I've heard stories about older people having teeth become loose and not tightening back up after they did it. He said it would take probably 2 years for me and the cost would be $5000 which is another huge factor in my decision.
