Best cream for Turkey Neck

Started 1375135700.563 in Beauty Banter | Last reply 1375222953.973 by brandiwine

I would like to know what neck creams anyone could recommend for "turkey neck".

And I mean any, even if they aren't offered on the Q.

THANKS!

Butter.... oh you didn't mean that kind of turkey neck. I don't have that issue, but I use the Meaningful Beauty line and the moisturizer seems to tighten and firm, I like it.

Perricone Sub D works like nothing else I've ever tried. Reviews are mixed, but I love it to firm my jawline and under chin area.

I have been using Elysee Youthspan Resculpting Concentrate sold on HSN for several years now. No turkey neck for me.

I used to use BE neck cream but recently the Q had StriVectin neck and body cream duo which was priced at less than one jar of the StriVectin neck cream. I've been using it for about a week now. I really love the consistency of the cream. I don't have a bad turkey neck but have started using neck cream as a preventative measure. HTH

Have used Perricone Sub-D on my chin with great success. Don't think I will ever give it up for my chin line. Have not really used it on my entire neck. I have been getting great results with the new Isomers Amino line. Amino exfoliating neck and decolletee product as well as the new Amino Neck and Decollete Firming cream. Amazing how quickly I have seen results from those products. I also got great results from the old Isomers Neck and Chin Firming cream. Have also liked Diane Young Coneflower Firming Cream over the years. Had no results with Strivectin, Dr. Denese, Prai and others. I'm sticking with those that give me results.

Another vote for Diane Young available here on the Q still. I like Perricone subD but a waste for your whole neck.

Hi Colson, glad to know we have both had good results with the same products. Thanks for the positive comments.

Are you talking about a dry crepiness on your neck in the area of your throat?

I sometimes notice that it looks a little scary there, so I apply argan oil or maracuja oil on the back of my hands and then I press it against my throat. And shazam!! gone and the skin looks like it did in my 20's or 30's again. I used to do it with Vaseline, I applied it at night, and when I woke up in the morning my neck would look great, but after a while using petroleum jelly kind of scared me. So I went with the oils instead. You may give that a try if you have any kind of oil (including olive oil!) before you go out and buy anything. HTH.

The only thing that will permanently fix turkey neck is surgery. I use Burt's Bees Intense Hydration with Clary Sage Night cream. It is for your face and neck. Keeps you hydrated. Good luck to you.

I use argan oil and Elizabeth Grant firming cream from the southern channel. Both do a commendable job. Although, I do agree with KatCat that surgery would be the only thing that would REALLY fix this problem, although mine isn't really bad yet.

{#emotions_dlg.lol} My new favorite neck cream is StriVectin TL Tightening Neck Cream (on QVC and elsewhere) - really firms my neck and jawline area. I also like Isomers Neck and Chin Firming Cream (ShopNBC and Isomers website), although I haven't used it for some time and am not familiar with the new vs. old formulas or whatever they have done with it.

I really don't think you can do any better than rosehip seed oil. I use it from hairline down to chest. I had seen the rec on this board and I would have to say, it is really the best beauty purchase I have made. It absorbs quickly and feels wonderful. I am amazed at what it does for my skin. It goes with whatever other beauty line I am using.

I'm actually having good luck with Serious Skin Care Firm-a-Chin. I don't use many SSC products but this particular product leaves me with a nice tight jawline and smooth neck. I use a lot of Perricone and enjoy a few products in the Lancome line up.. like Genifique- but only the serum. I tried the cream + serum formula and sent it back.

I bought Burt's Bee's intense hydration night cream & altho I didn't care for the tight feeling it gave my skin, I do love it as a neck cream. No turkey neck tho, not yet. Rosehip Seed oil is excellent mixed with a moisturizer for the neck & chest. Good Luck!

Am using a drugstore version of alpha hydroxyl cream and do daily neck stretches...helps relaxing at the end of yoga.

I agree with you about surgery. I'm not a big proponent of cosmetic surgery, but in the case of something like turkey neck there really isn't a non surgical option. The expensive creams can give you a smooth turkey neck, but you'll still have it.

I have been trying StriVectin Neck Cream. I believe I have seen an improvement in my neck but only minimally. I saw a show on Dr. OZ about alpha hydroxy\ and I have been applying a lotion of alpha hydroxy before the StiVectin in hopes that it will increase the effectiveness of the StiVectin.

I tried Jurlique cream and it was amazing. Unfortunately money is an issue right now so I am using what I have in the house which is Argan Oil. Jurlique is sold at Sephora online. I don't have turkey neck but I lost weight so I have extra skin and crepey skin. Bare Minerals didn't work, SSC neck cream tightens the area but then leaves me with dry skin. I tried Shiseido which smells great but that was all. Miracle by Philosophy is very very good as well. It is a bit thick but I use a dab on my neck when the SSC leaves me dried out. I use it sparingly since I only have a tiny bit left. Estee Lauder has a cream (sorry, in a pink tube) that immediately tightens the neck but it also leaves me a bit dry. Seriously if you are near a Sephora store try getting a sample of Jurlique. It was the very best.

Hi Beauty$Junkie....I love this idea. Where can I buy rosehip seed oil? Whole foods? I don't want to have to order on line....I like to go to a store.

I have had really good luck with Elizabeth Grant skincare from Shop HQ (formerly Shop NBC). I started using her line about 6 mos ago and really like it. She recently came out with a new product Super Size Three Piece Neck Cream, SOS Cream & Eye Treatment - Item Number is 305-641. I have been using this new kit for about a mo and I just noticed over the weekend that the turkey neck is getting better. It will never go away without surgery, but I have been trying for years to get something that will help witht his issue and this is truly the first item I have found that has done anything at all. Good luck and I hope you find something that works for you.
