Best Drugstore "Tubular" Mascara?

Hi Ladies,

In recenty months I've fallen hard for Trish McEvoy's Lash Curling Mascara. It really holds the lashes up, so-to-speak, and also NEVER travels. I realize that this is b/c it is the "tubular" type of mascara, and I can literally just pull off the mascara with a little cleanser and water at the end of the day. However, despite my love for this product, I'm looking for something comparable available in the drugstore. Would it shock you ladies to know that I'm on a self-imposted no-buy? Well, I am. I had a huge A-HA! moment and realized I was literally throwing $$$ out the window on duplicates of stuff I already had, or more eyeliners or lip products. Like I need those! Nothing can stop my deep love for all things BEAUTY, but I need to really, seriously, reign it in.

So, anyway, tubular mascara in the d/s???Anyone?

TIA{#emotions_dlg.biggrin}

You can't go wrong with L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes Technology Mascara, IMO.

Fat red tube with one white end cap.

HTH!

I have yet to find a fabulous mascara, drugstore or otherwise. It's like the holy grail to me, completely elusive. I used to love Mallys in the white tube until she started selling 47 at one time, now they are nothing special and I won't purchase again. So I'm back on my quest. Check in with me in a year and I'll let you know if I found anything! ;)

If you want no clumping and lengthening try Maybelline Lash Discovery. It has a narrow regular brush (not plastic) and actually was my first favorite my Maybelline.

I second the L'Oreal. I have tried all the tubing mascaras and it works best.

I second this. So easy to remove with just water and gently rubbing the tubes off with your fingers. Never have any smudging with it so especially great on lower lashes. Sounds like you want to save $$$. I buy this at Ulta when they have BOGO half off and use their $3.50 coupon. Makes it about $5 a tube.

What is a tubular mascara? Never really heard of this before. I stopped wearing mascara because I have sensitive eyes.

you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometime, well you just might find, that you get what you need...The Rolling Stones

I'm hooked on the Trish version. DOESN'T sting my eyes, doesn't come off on the bottom, washes off great, and looks nice. It is the only mascara I've ever found that doesn't drive me nuts. Also, my lashes don't feel like they are stuck together.

I forgot to say once a year Nordies has them three for the price of 2, so I always get that and that's my only mascara buy.

Thanks, Lola--It even has TUBES in the name, so I'll be able to find it!Cool

Sooner-It's really great, isn't it? It's the first mascara of this kind that I've tried. Really was so surprised that it did what the SAs said it would do--stay on, and NOT smudge!

luvpoos-I may not be the best at describing it, but here it goes--the mascara sort of "hugs" the lashes, sorta encapsulates them. Then, when you wash it off, it comes right off the lashes in "tubes", each tube that went around a lash. The SA at the counter warned me when I bought it that I might for a second think that my eyelashes were falling off when I tried to wash it off. It does look that way! But it's just the tubes coming off each lash. Does that help?

soonersis, azqfan--Looks like the Loreal is winner! I will definitely try it!
