Yikes - I am 60 years old and my skin is breaking out like with all sorts of clogged pores. I stopped using my anti-aging products. Now what should I use? Anyone have a recommendation to clear up my skin
Here are two suggestions:
Burt's Bees Acne Solutions Maximum Strength
Neutrogena blemish stick (comes in different shades to cover the blemish)
Both dry up the blemishes.
Maybe a face wash with salicylic in it like Neutogena or a Glycolic cleanser.Good luck-Im turning 60 and once in awhile will have breakouts!
Yes I do. Buzz on Acne Spray from buzzonhealth dot com worked for me.
I was 59, 2 months shy of my 60th birthday when I read about here on this board. That was 4 years ago. I had chin acne, big painful nodules, though. Any clogged pores and/or blackheads I had were a lesser problem. The BOA Spray keeps my skin completely clear and healthy now.
Others here swear by it too and then again some others hated it. I was actually shocked that it worked for me so perfectly after all the years years going with the benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, and Rx routine that was failing me.

Bunk, do any of the anti-aging products you've been using contain silicones? (Any ingredient ending in "cone", "siloxane", "silane", and "conol".) Many anti-aging products are full of them, particularly serums and moisturizers. I find that silicones clog my pores and break me out badly, even if I can use them initially.
I recomend Bellaboo. You can purchase it at ulta. I work for this company and can testify that this stuff really WORKS. It is all organic and natural. The key ingredient is Sea Buckthorn Oil which works on all skin types and is a miracle worker at clearing up skin. Bellaboo was created with teens in mind but I promise any age can use this.. its worth a try! Its gentle and effective. I recomend trying the face wash , and getting the serum and the moisturizer also. Mix 1 part serum and 1 part moisturizer together and apply...... spot treat with the serum. Its amazing stuff ! XOXOX

I'm 59 and just started having the same problem. I have to wonder if it's related to summer heat, perspiration, working out in the heat, etc. I changed face cleanser and started using a salicylic acid pad on trouble spots after cleansing. I also changed to a lighter moisturizer for summer too.
