What happened to Tawaka by Ojon? I and several of my family and friends Love, Love, Loved that line!!! You can't find it anywhere. When I contacted Ojon, I was told that it was a QVC exclusive and that QVC decided to stop having it made. Is this true and if so...WHY? Does anyone else out there have an opinion or a desire to see this line come back? Nothing I find compares to what it did for my hair. Please, please bring it back!
I think it was discontinued.
Ojon is at Sephora and also at Ulta. They also seem to have a web site. Do an Internet search.

I'm sure the OP is fully aware of that, but she's specifically talking about Ojon's Tawaka line of products, whcih were wildly popular back in the day.
To the OP, the Tawaka line was discontinued back in 2009, and I think the reason had something to do with the trees from which the ingredients were harvested, were becoming more and more scarce.
You can probably still find some Tawaka products on eBay.
It has been a long time since I used Tawaka, but if it was the product in the dark brown bottle, I agree it was very good. I do not need conditioner, only shampoo. I purchased some of the very large sets from here on A/D and was very disappointed when the program was cancelled.
I recently began ordering directly from the Ojon website. I am using the Volume Advance product and am very satisfied with it. It is a bit pricey, but I can buy only the shampoo and on their auto delivery program I got free shipping.
I switched back to Ojon from Wen because I get more volume and a longer-lasting clean with Ojon.
I loved the Tawaka products. When they were discontinued, I quit Ojon.
I was addicted to the jar of cream that smelled like milk chocolate...it was a great night cream for me. If they offered it again, I'd buy it immediately.
I really liked the tawaka and am sorry they discontinued it. I am down to my last bottle of the shampoo and conditioner.
The Cosmetics Company Outlet carries Ojon. I saw Tunu products there but cannot remember for sure if there was any Tawaka. I still have my Tawaka Balls form the Beauty Bash.
I have a jar and a half of the skin cream, the original one before they messed with it and put it in the tube. I treat it like gold, though I know I need to use it up before it goes bad. The Tawaka conditioner was the best, hands down, I have ever tried. And yes, there was a hurricane or tropical storm that supposedly wiped out many of the trees that this nut grew on, so they decided to stop harvesting.
I miss recess!
He also sold the company.
