What is your favorite scent on a man??

Started 1366514485.16 in Beauty Banter | Last reply 1366789114.567 by phoenixbrd

So this is funny since I just posted a "complaint of sorts" about my DH not liking most perfumes and lotion scents.....which got me thinking that while I have very very fond memories of scents like POLO and even OBSESSION 20 years back on some hot studs I had mini crushes on.....

The smell I love best is.....soap and fresh deoderant!! Ha ha!!!

I don't like my husband to wear cologne. I just don't like any scent enough that I want to smell it on him.

I even buy the least scented deodorants for him or unscented.

My son wears a D & G scent that I like, but not enough that I would want DH wearing it.

Lacoste sport. My husband's been wearing it since before we started dating, so it just smells like "him." ;) Wait, it might be Lacoste Essential. It's in a green package. Last edited on 4/20/2013

I get migraines from everything, but love Jake. It's exclusive to Hollister.

I will say, there was one by Kenneth cole a few years ago that I don't think was made for very long, because I can't find it now, but.....Oh. My. Gosh. It smelled amazing. Like, rip his clothes off good. Hubby's probably wishing I could get my hands on some of that!!

One of my weird pet peeves is that I really hate fragrance or cologne on men, my DH included. However, I'm a fragrance junkie! I really love my DH's deodorant--Speedstick. Musk or Ocean Breeze.:) Very subtle. And when he's freshly showered-delightful! :)

Over 40. Dark hair. Fair, with mild-moderate Rosacea. Finicky skin. Did I mention--Gorgeous? ;)

I HATE cologne or ANY fragrance on a REAL MAN!!!!!!! I love my husband with a fresh soap and water shower smell!! {#emotions_dlg.wub} The very WORST is any "axe" or strong cheap smelling scent!!!! Makes me want to run in the opposite direction as fast as I can!!!{#emotions_dlg.thumbdown} I do have to admit that I love when he comes in from a work out smelling a bit sweaty{#emotions_dlg.wub}!!!!!

almost forgot another oldie but goodie..... lagerfeld PHOTO.

one reason why i LOVE fragrance on a man..... and a GOOD fragrance that works with his chemistry.......is that i can go into any department store, smell that particular scent in a bottle, and there is just a flood of memories that come rushing back. it sure is a fantastic pick me up when they are not around. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Briing back the memories. When I was younger I liked Giorgio Armani and a cologne called Grey Flannel.
