So when we lost power during the blizzard a few weeks ago, I bought Jiffy Pop with intentions of using it on the woodstove. Well the day I bought it we got power back and never did. So last night I tried to use it on the glass cooktop. Okay I know I know it says right on the package not to. But anyway I figured I could hold it above the heat and all would be well and I'd be eating Jiffy Pop.
Well whatever the packaging is made of melted to the glass top. Just a dime size drop. The stove was too hot to wipe it off and I had nothing nearby. Now whatever this substance is is glued to the stovetop and I don't know what to do. I've tried Goo Gone... I thought that stuff worked on everything! Nope! I tried a plastic spoon so as not to scratch... nope.
Ideas?
