Do you want a foot cream that really works???

Started 1357908228.053 in Beauty Banter | Last reply 1359652994.253 by i like celery

I found one..........Paige Meadows Foot Cream (made in Iowa).......even though I get a monthly pedicure and put lotion on my feet, they were still dry, cracked, and rough. I found this cream in a local little soap boutique and it's the bomb........it's a whipped consistency and is not greasy. My feet are as pink and soft at the end of the day as they are after applying the cream in the morning. It has a light peppermint smell. They have a website: www.paigemeadows.com

Almost forgot......I paid $19 for a huge 8oz. jar. (I love this stuff).

I also posted this last night, but it was right when the site was being taken down and I'm not sure if it ever saw the light of day, so decided to do it again this morning.

You're Welcome..............apparently it was developed for diabetics who have a hard time healing their cracked feet.........I didn't realize, until I checked the website, that they had so many different products......I'm definitely going to try more....also nice to find a product made in the U.S.

Nice site. I did order a couple things. I love those little small town boutiques. Thanks

Thanks for the tip on this product. I just ordered foot and hand lotion. I am always in search of these two items that will really work.

I'm hoping that those of you who purchase are happy with the results......

I'm no expert and I'm not sure how it will work on super-thick heavy callous (you may want to consider having them removed), but I know I was always disappointed with how my feet looked and felt after my pedicure and this stuff makes me feel like I've just finished having one.

P.S. I do not work for this co. (really)

I went to order but nothing comes up except pictures of three containers of the foot cream. Did they perhaps sell out? Anyone else seeing the same thing. I'd love to help a small company and order what sounds like a great product. Thanks to the OP for posting!

Click on Shop Online on home page, should work fine after that.

The site works for me? Did you click on products or shop-I forget which. They have tons of product.

snowball, I'll let you know if you want to wait. I just got a small tube of the footcream in case I don't like the scent. And the shower gel-I've been looking for a pure one. Hope it doesn't have the dreaded sodium lauryl sulfate. I doubt it so I took a chance. Those ingred aren't always listed, only the main ingredients.

I loved the Dr.Scholl's foot cream balm.. However was discontinued.. Am now using the Miracle Foot cream repair, and do like it..

My biggest frustration is not finding a good Foot scrub..

Do like the Freeman's Barefoot, but not available in any stores in my area..

I know it's available on line at Freeman's,and also found it at Drugstore.you know the rest..

Have to pay shipping unless i spend at least $25.. Am on a fixed income, and try to avoid those deals..

Do use them in the shower with a pumice or Foot file...

Just so frustrated that all i can find is many foot creams!!.

I also tried the Dr. Scholls's for her Pumice foot scrub.. Not that great as it does not have any or very little moisturizer as Freeman does..

Sorry am venting, but i get very frustrated when i can't find products i love in local stores..

lovestodance-to remove dead skin I use a file and callous remover both from Sally's and inexpensive. The file is about 3 inches long and 1 inch wide with a foil looking rough area, not a grate. The remover is Be Natutral. I put some on the file and scrub away in the shower. Better to put it on and let it satutarte the are for a bit but I usually don't have lots of time. It works very well.

What brand did you get? How does it work better compared to the one hulagirl posted about?

I was finally able to make a purchase. Got the foot cream and a bag of foot soak, both in Glacier (Spearmint). Thanks again for the link. It'll be a fun little package to chase away the winter doldrums.

LOL!

Years ago, someone here suggested slathering Vicks Vapo Rub on your feet then donning some socks for the night. I wish I could remember the poster's sig because it worked like a charm (though I went to the Dollar Store and used a knockoff).

And, no, I don't work for Vicks{#emotions_dlg.laugh}.

BellaCarro - please be careful with that file. I had to go to a podiatrist some years ago, and he warned me that using a file or anything that is sharp on feet can really be dangerous. As I remember, he said that feet can get infected very easily and one using a file can get too much dead skin off -leaving a layer of raw skin to the elements!! Just passing along his warning...
