Anyone tried these? Are they drying?

Are these the ones that look like a marker with a pointed brush tip? Maybe it's silly, but I'd be afraid of accidentally missing and going outside my lipline and then being stuck with a stupid mistake stain....lol I've used the Kissable Balms that are like an automatic crayon and like them. I was wondering about the shade, "Adore" is it really dark? Lucky One1355548324.741082 PostsRegistered 7/15/2011 Adore is my favorite. It's a blue-based red that's build able. My skin tone is pretty light so I use it more for a dressy look, not for everyday. I do not find them drying. And I like that they leave a stain on my lips. Nice for work, since sometimes I do not get a chance to reapply. quesolvr1355551732.053229 PostsRegistered 9/9/2011 The darker and brighter shades are the way to go. They stain better. I do not find these hydrating. I use a balm at night, again in the morning, then apply this before I do the rest of my makeup, I reapply before leaving the house. I find at around lunchtime, I need a regular balm or gloss. My lips are stained for the rest of the day, but I need something with moisture mid-day. These are not hydrating like clinique or tartes, but they stain way way better. I have a few of these crayons, Adore being one of them. I switch them up depending on the colors in the clothes I'm wearing. I use a lip cream at night and whenever it dawns on me while at my desk, to keep my lips in good shape. I exfoliate my lips regularly, too. These stain balms go on smoothly and give nice color. Keeping your lip surface smooth will make them look better so nothing collects on any dead or peeling skin. Over time the slip/gloss will wear away, but the stain will remain. It's easy to either reapply or just use a clear or tinted gloss over the stain that's still there. The Honey is the only real pink I have from the bunch. Some of the pinks and purples in the color range are tempting, but I suspect they'd settle to a color that's too bright for me. Funny, magenta was my favorite color as a little kid...I don't think I'd look too good with it on my lips now! kcladyz1355580811.161759 PostsRegistered 4/30/2012Kansas City, Missouri i am not a fan of stains for they dry out fast but i like the natural look on the lips
