What are your recommendations for a great over the counter volumizing shampoo? I'm also looking for a light hairspray that won't weight down hair. I have very fine, thin hair.

I've been using MOP shampoo which is absolutely fantastic. I've been using Redken 09 and 12 hairspray. I just can't afford salon products anymore.

Thanks!

Peace

I like the Thicker Fuller Hair Spray, I have been buying it for years (in a green can)

No favorite on the shampoo to help you with

Garnier has both. The voluminzing shampoo and hairspray. I love the sleek and shine shampoo with argan oil by Garnier. GOod luck in your search.

Loreal has a volumiizing creamy shampoo in their everpure line as well as conditioner which is sulfate free...I use to use Kendra hair spray but upon recommendation, I tried Loreal elnet hair spray, it's awesome, holds without that stiff look, very natural looking...also Loreal has a styling spay for holding curls, sometimes I use heated rollers & used Chi holding spray which is !more expensive but the Loreal works great, thought I'd thow that in for ya!

I use Sexy Hair's Big and Sexy Spray and Play or the Spray and Play Harder. They both give volume and hold without being too sticky or heavy. They are my favorites!!

I really like Suave Professionals line. Inthink the volumizing line is good. Currently using sleek line. EmilyNoel recommended Not your Mothers line for a volumizing hairspray. I wi check that one out at some point.

CalmintheHeart: Just wondering what is MOP shampoo that you mentioned in your opening post. Can't figure it out. I need volume and would be interested to know what this is. Smile

MOP .... Modern Organic Products Inc. But the label and everything says MOP. I really like it. It's a bit expensive which is why I need to find another. I have been buying it at Beauty Warehouse which sells salon products.

Peace
