Need recommendation for Alcohol free hair spray

Started 1350619416.893 in Beauty Banter | Last reply 1350675359.993 by lovestodance

Am looking for a good over the counter hair spray without Alcohol. Most hair sprays do contain alcohol in fact first ingredient seems to be that.

I have baby fine thin,sparse hair. Am concerned that hair spray,and maybe some other products that contain Alcohol could be a big factor in that.

Do need one that will still give me too volume,not making my hair flat. Just to add i do have my hair permed twice a year. In fact am do for one very soon. Am depressed since when i am the tail end point of not getting the added volum i need it is hard for me to take care of it.

Ever-Style by L'Oreal - it's new. In fact, I want to try it as soon as I run out of hair spray. They also have other products in this new line without alcohol.

Do the alcohol-free sprays have holding power? And, what about dry time?

Let me know if you suddenly become interesting.

Good question. Would like to know as well. I think some Alcohol free sprays are not as good hold as ones with.

Years ago i think i may have tried one or two,and not as good holding as ones with Alcohol in them.

Nioxin has a hair spray, have seen it at Ulta. I'm sure you could find the ingredients on line as well.

Big disappoitment for me. Just went on L'oreal website. They do have an Alcohol free hair spray.

Mostly bad reviews. One said made her hair brittle. A few said the scent was awful.{#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

So here i go again with trying to find another one....{#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

Does anyone know if Generist skin,and hair products makes one without Alcohol?
