What's up with the different nail polish color on ring fingers?

I'm starting to see this more and more on adults - hosts and vendors. Is this a new fad or does this mean something that I'm not aware of?

It is a new fad. {#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}

The only time it means anything (other than I am so cool, dontcha think?? {#emotions_dlg.laugh}) is if one fingernail is painted pink. That is for breast cancer awareness during the month of October.

Yes I noticed it tonight on Shawn "I am so cool dontcha think" Killinger.

Blue and green.

Different, I thought someones daughter or niece has been getting ahold of the nail polish bottles using mom or auntie as an ginnie pig. I guess it is an new in style thing, now..

Seems like it is the trend.

I hate it.

This has been going on for the past couple of years. If I do it then I just add a coordinating sparkly polish to my ring finger, not a whole different color, for some interest.

It's the hottest trend from Europe via California and new York, and has been arond a little over 2 years. A little slow taking over the U.S., as is every trend.

Like the black nils, reverse french manicure, with the back or colored tips against a pink or clear nail, etc.

It is "the thing", if you look at the fashion magazines of couture ilk you will see it everywhere.

It is just a new thing in nail color that's all

I have manicures primarily done in neutral shades; preferring instead to don adventurous pedicures. However, several weeks ago, I had real diamond glitter dust applied to one fingernail to great effect.

I have now secured two small apothecary jars of extra fine German Glass Glitter (one in platinum and the other in gold) for when I desire to wear the look again. The glitter subtlety blends in with the neutral colors, yet is utterly gorgeous when it catches the light.

As with many fashionable statements, no, it is not for everyone.

Oh my; how positively lovely!

I don't care for the look at all.

Accent nail. I do it from time to time. I like it. I know I can't do fancy design a such on my nails like some people. So this works.Smile
