I have been wearing this for years and love it, but the colors sometimes are tricky. I wear the double matte in true tawney and use mallys tinted skin finisher over it and get alot of compemints on my skin. I am oily and I do like mallys products but havent tried her foundation . any suggestions???

I wore Estee Lauder's Double Matte for the better part of 15 years. At 51, I finally have skin that is not quite as oily as it used to be. On a complete whim, I tried Revlon's Color Stay for Combination/oily skin. I absolutely love this stuff, probably better than Double Matte. I simply took my Estee Lauder bottle along with me to the drugstore to match the color. I purchased the Color Stay at CVS because they will accept cosmetic returns if you are not satisfied with your purchase. In my case, there were no returns!!!

Oh the money I am now saving by wearing Color Stay!!!! I really wish I had tried it sooner.{#emotions_dlg.thumbup}

I went to Sephora yesterday and sampled the Make Up Forever Matte Velvet and OMGosh was it beautiful on! see my thread on 'Help, my foundation won't stay on'. It lasted a very long time

and felt great on. My skin looked flawless! It comes in lots of colors as well, and no breakouts by today. I even slept in it to see ( i know, i know-not a good idea!) Good luck in your search!

I say if it still works for you, stick with it. I am guessing you are perhaps just bored? I would never tire of the complements, and so would stick with it.

EL invisible or lancome 24 hr have many shades to choose from and haven't oxidized on me yet.

Clinique has a new foundation especially for oily skin that is matte, plus on their website you get free shipping and 3 samples. Check it out.

Iluminare' Concealing Mineral foundation has a semi-matte finish and is a med to full coverage foundation. It is oil free.

I wear the color Floretine Fair and am med/med light with cool undertones. It is a pretty neutral color which cancels out my red, but doesn't have too much yellow in it to make me look sick!

This foundation was one of the ones on that thread that showed all different foundations and how they looked and covered and it looked really good on her. (Sorry, can't remember the name of the thread, but I don't think it was all that long ago - everyone liked the Lancome Teint 24 hr one the best)

The Estee Double Matte was too matt for me and I couldn't get a good color match.

Hope you find what works better for you.
