I stopped using proactiv(which always worked for me) so that I can use the tria blue light and combine that with anti aging products that my skin could not tolerate with the proactiv. LOOOONG story short, I still have pimples, a blue light and a clarisonic. Can I use proactive with the clarisonic? Is the grit in proactive smooth or too rough to use with Clarisonic? I almost 40 and fine lines with pimples is making me CRAZY!

I have never used Proactiv. However, I do use a clarisonic and the product that I use to wash my face with in the morning is by Philosopy and it's called Micro-Delivery Wash. Because of the fine granules in that product. It is recommended that you do not use it with the Clarisonic. Therefore, I would think the answer would be no to using your proactiv with the Clarisonic. I hope this helps.

I use the MIA and ProActiv at night only. Great combo! No skin problems since I started doing this regime. Good luck!

I also just started using my clarisonic at night with Proactive. It makes my skin feel really clean and smooth.

I tried both morning and night this week and it was too much; my face was a little sensitive so I went back to just at night.

Try it out and see how your skin does.

I have used Proactiv with my Clarisonic for a year or more with no problems. I am 40 with oily/combo skin...some redness on cheeks and a few lines. It doesn't irritate my skin at all to use it at night. I have tried a bunch of other skin care lines and have always come back to Proactiv.

I wouldn't advise using Proactive cleanser with a clarisonic because of the grainy texture you mentioned.

The good people of Clarisonic do not recommend using it with an exfoliating cleanser. I strayed from Proactiv for a couple of months, tryinng to "wean" myself off it and it just didn't work out for me. I got back on it and within a week my skin was clear again. To heck with my Clarisonic, I say. I'd rather have clear skin. I use a gentle cleanser at night, followed by my antiaging regimen then in the morning Proactiv. If you overdo products, just 'cause you have them, then your skin is going to rebel.

Dr.'s Rodan & Fields have said you can use Proactiv with the Clarisonic.

Proactive and the clarisonic work great together. I've used mine with the renewing cleanser and cleansing wash. My face feels awesome afterwards.

I couldn't use either let alone combine the two. My skin is way too sensitive. If you have both and like both give it a try but tread slowly.
