I had acrylics for awhile and had them removed last April.....I suffered thru the long, tedius growing out period....faithfully taking good care of my nails. I used Duri Rejuvacote and alternated with Nailtiques....took Andrew Lessman's Hair, Skin and Nails.
For the first time in my life I had GREAT nails....People actually could NOT believe they were my own.
Then around the Holidays I caved and had a "Gel Nail Polish" AKA Gelish manicure, twice.
That stuff is really hard to come off..."they" say an Acetone based polish remover will remove it, but they have to be soaked and yesterday she had to "drill" off what was left after my LAST manicure.
Now my nails are thin and weak again.
