Eagle Watchers

Just left the nest site. Go there every day to see how they are doing with the waiting for the little ones. The other night Mom was completely cover with snow could not even see her in the nest.

We lost a egg last night. Dad eagle just took it out of the nest. Mom sat on the nest for over 24 hours and left the nest today and left Dad in charge.

We check Pgh. nest out every few days and were sorry to hear they lost an egg. Haven't seen dad at all but mom is on nest every time we view it. Beautiful eagle.

did you see what happened down at the south west Florida eagle nest Ozzie the Dad eagle got hurt and is at a animal hospital and Harriet the Mom was crying for him today since he has not been back to their nest and she can't find him. It is so sad to watch her and listen to her. The baby eagle will more then likely fly away from the nest before Ozzie is allowed to be released from the animal hospital.
