Anuschka Lovers: Heads Up

Received an e-mail reminder for the Anuschka show this Friday on ShopHQ. The e-mails let you "shop the show", so it is worth signing up for them. Looks like some new bags will be introduced and a new to me purple motif. Plus, ShopHQ is good about value pays, shipping, and I usually enjoy the shows (well, depends on who is hosting, some of those voices over there are grating). The bags are carefully made in India and the company is family run; do you know how rare that is? Bags are well made, lightweight, and no fishy odors. Each one is signed by a family member after inspection.

I never wear prints, so an interesting bag (color or design) is my "pop". If the designs are overwhelming to you: consider their accessories to slip into a plain tote.

This line is a bit polarizing: you like them or you don't. I splurged on a couple of Patricia Nash items when she was on, so I might sit this one out. Right .. ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

Here are a couple of pics to get the "flavor" of the line. These are the only bags I have carried (and I have a LOT) that people will stop me and ask about them.

I have the bag with Precious Pups, as I am a fan of puppies. ${#emotions_dlg.wub}$ Haven't carried it yet, as I am saving it for Spring, but oh -do I love it. The quality was much nicer than I expected and oh the detail is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ${#emotions_dlg.tt1}$

I received the same email and I just can't wait !!!!!!!!!!! ${#emotions_dlg.thumbup}$ ( Already have two bags in my cart, to see if they have special pricing/offers during the event. lol) ${#emotions_dlg.laugh}$

We will have to come back to this thread - to report what damage we do on this visit ! ${#emotions_dlg.lol}$

Hi Cindy, Thanks so much for the Heads Up on the Anuschka show this Friday! I am also an owner of many handbags, as well as the proud owner of several Anuschkas. Love that Safari Bloom print as well - and love it more that it's on clearance! My first Anuschka was a double handled tote with the Tattoo Rose design. It's still my all-time favorite. Wouldn't you know a very expensive Italian designer (think double G's) had a handbag with a similar print costing four figures. I saw that bag in person and although this Italian designer creates great handbags (I also own a few of them as well) it just couldn't hold a candle to the Anuschka. And I have also had people stop me to ask about the Anuschka handbag I am wearing that day. Beautiful and unique designs as well as excellent quality! Happy Shopping on Friday!

The only caution is the flap-over style where there is a brass hinge type thingie to hold the flap down in the front. The weight of the bag will cause the brass hinge to gravitate to an open position and your bag won't stay shut. My neighbor had to send this one back.

Thanks so much for this Heads Up as well, Hi Cindy. Perhaps the clasp issues with this particular bag, along with all those poor reviews, is the reason it's on clearance. But I'll definitely check some of the other nice bags on sale!

They are great bags - I bought the hobo with cats and I love it! It's not an everyday purse, but I love when I get to carry it. It's so pretty. Had to turn the channel tonight so I didn't order anotherbag :-D

Did anyone order the TV? I am tempted, but have "maintained." ${#emotions_dlg.biggrin}$ Day is still young. ${#emotions_dlg.devil2}$

Had my eye on a bag that is over $400 , and was hoping for a special price this visit - but no. ${#emotions_dlg.sad}$

I had stayed strong till I previewed 719-108 for today. Then I collapsed like a tissue. I LOVE orange and the domed orange TSV was not the right shape for me.

The new lilac shades were nice too. Loved the evening show.

In time for Valentine's Day: and on clearance. They had me at the cosmetic case.

Congrats on an awesome bag and great deal! Now, talk me out of the big African Adventure Bag! ${#emotions_dlg.unsure}$ I hoped to get special pricing offered on that bag, but no.

I am also tempted on the TV Friends Forever bag, but I have had my eye on African Adventure for months. That bag stays sold out in that option. ${#emotions_dlg.blink}$ What to do ? ${#emotions_dlg.confused1}$
