Your all-time favorite G.I.L.I. handbag?

The original Roma medium/Roma II... The only GILI bags I actually liked enough to keep but I love them and enough to own one or the other in five colors. The white ostrich and brown-black snake are my favorites, but I like the natural ostrich, orange and espresso awfully much too...

I own only the Milano hobo in black and absolutely love it. Thinking about getting the brown snake.

My Roma 2 in cream snake is my favorite. Love all my Gili bags and jackets! and shoes, and clothes.... Miss Lisa alot but I am happy to save some money.

Wow, hard to pick. I guess I would have to say my Roma 2's. I have 3, Ivory ostrich, brown lizard and black. I love this bag. Perfect in every way for me. I also have 3 Milanos. Brown snake (my favorite), cream snake and gray ostrich. I love this bag too! I also have a large roma . It's a great travel size. Perfect for air travel. My least favorite, although it's a beauty, is my vintage hobo. It's so lovely, yet just so big. I just don't use it much. It's huge and it puddles. It just annoys me sometimes. It is a pretty bag. On a day to day basis I enjoy my Milanos and Roma 2s.

The Roma 2 cream snake might BECOME my new favorite. Didn't get it when it was available, just madly found a new one on eBay, so it's on its way. I just love the construction of the Roma 2, the drape, the large capacity and was drawn to the cream snake, but went with blush (which I love).

I'm in shock that the Q is discontinuing this bag that sold tens of thousands. Go figure marketing. Roma 2 definitely has the Gucci look. Now that I think about it, there is no other host, at the moment, who is really into high-end designer bags (or clothes or jewels), the way Lisa was, so no one else to push the line, I suppose. Lisa made it clear she adored the high-end designers, but was excited to bring affordable versions. Q needs at least ONE host who dresses and talks high-end, in my view. [Still horrified at Amy pushing the "new" GILI as a diaper bag. Sigh.]
