{Playing favorite!} Which handbag makes you happiest?

I've got a thing for Kate Spade, Brighton, and Lauren Merkin clutches. Right now I'm carrying this Kate Spade bag the most (in bone/black).

My Michael Kors red leather handbag makes me smile...Christmas gift last year from my darling son who won't be home this Christmas as he is in Marine boot camp!!!

My first ever Coach bag Sadie in ocelot that I have with me today. I just love her.

Is anyone adoring the Dooney hobo logo lock? My second one, in orange, helped me support the SF Giants in their World Series run. So hard to find a wonderful orange bag:

Nothing beats this bag for soft pebble leather, incredible organization, complete with key keeper, and the kiss-lock accessory. However, speaking of Happiness, orange always makes me smile!

I love orange too. I bought a small swingpack in mandarin which is a lighter color than this from Coach but I love this darker more coral look. It reminds me of another bag I have that is called love red but is actually this very orangey red color. Very pretty! And I am a sucker for the kiss lock. I was born too late!

I think it's really interesting how the style of our favorite handbags differ. For some it's a hobo, for others a satchel, etc. Some love a handbag for it's color/pattern or sentimental value, other for it's functionality. For me to love a handbag the leather must be beautiful, the color has to make me happy, the handbag has to be functional and not heavy... and it must be a satchel.

I have many handbags, and no real favorite. But I love my Dooney Amazon zip zip satchels for the look, the leather, the functionality, and the fact that they are very light weight. I also really enjoy using my Dooney ostrich embossed satchel... looks great and light weight too. I love the look of my Brahmin handbags, but don't find them functional, for me. One of my Coach satchels works well and is light weight, but I don't like the inside lining. The other Coach handbags, as well as my Cole Haan are beautiful leather, but too heavy.
