I prefer vinyl, like Vera Bradley, for accessories: coin purse, make up bag, glasses case etc. In handbags, I am crazy about nylon/ leather combos. With a shoulder problem, weight is always a consideration. Nylon body/leather trim is a happy compromise. Here is my latest purchase: Liebeskind (on sale)

Leather, of course, but I also like some vinyl bags and use them too. I know some folks will only consider a leather bag, but I'm not one to rule out a vinyl bag if I like it. I do, however, hold vinyl bags to a higher standard in that before I'll purchase them they have to offer both form and function. Sometimes with a leather bag they get by on just their good looks...

Leather, only. Won't buy or use a vinyl handbag. Won't buy a leather handbag with vinyl trim. Leather wears much better and feels much better in the hand. Of course there are different grades of leather and even prefabricated leathers... those aren't my thing either.

I avoid leather - I have fabric and vinyl ... but mostly fabric.

Leather....or fabric, for Vera Bradley, etc, but never any vinyl.
