Sometimes you just want a "fun" bag: check out Brighton's VERA line

I have many sensible gray and black bags gearing up for fall/winter. Went by the Brighton store fully intending to get a microfiber bag in navy (Billie) and got this Leopard print cutie "just because". I got the cross body pictured below. Since I am in my 60's, I remember VERA (Neumann) from the 1970's when she had sheets and towels and all kinds of cheerful merchandise to decorate your first apartment. Brighton has the best customer service IMO and they pack it all carefully and sometimes even send you a "thank you" note in the mail.

So happy Brighton had brought her artworks to life.

I love Brighton bags. I have the sunflower bag and the lady bug. I just ordered the new mum bag. You are right on the customer service. They are the best!! Their bags last forever!! I get a lot of compliments on these bags.

Oohh..they didn't have the new mum bag in yet: I bet that is special. They always send me e-mails too on the new arrivals. I got gorgeous tissue wrapping and a printed bag to carry my purchase home in and a snazzy dust bag. She put her business card in there also in case I had questions and registered my bag from the store. They spoil you, that's for sure. Enjoy your new bag !! Just an update: today in the mail I received a little package from the President of the company thanking me for purchasing a Brighton handbag and being a loyal customer. Included in the little package was a cute coin purse in black patent with a heart on it (fully lined no less).

I have never been treated so well in my life and I am 62. Wow. Many companies should take a cue from Brighton on unparalleled customer service.

My mum bag arrived on Thursday. It is very nice. They have a mum zip wallet, too. I am trying to pretend I didn't notice that. Lol. Every bag comes with a registration card and when you send it in you get a coin purse in the mail a few weeks later. It us a very nice gesture. I just don't know what to do with all of them. Linda

Maybe someone here can help me. My sister-in-law saw a handbag in a window at a Brighton store but when she went back it was gone. She said that it looked crochet, cocoa brown and look sort of like a DR's bag.

Would anyone know where I could find this handbag? I would love to buy it for her for CHristmas. Thanks

I don't know what a DR bag is - check the brighton.com site & while looking online, call the store nearest you & maybe the salesperson would know the name of that cocoa brown crochet line. Ask them if they can reorder the style you want.
