I'm not sure if this business is in existence anymore, but we used to have a secondhand store here called "Play it again, Sam", where you could buy any kind of sporting goods for a fraction of the original price. So...while I'm not sure what your exact asking price should be, I'd say to mark it down to about half what you paid, and see if anyone is interested. If not, mark it down to a quarter. adelle381276828081.6274871 PostsRegistered 12/22/2007 Honestly, with exercise equipment, you'll be lucky to get $25. There are just way too many out there. I had an inversion table I sold and got a very good price on that. eta: didn't use Craig's List just ran an ad in the local newspaper. Frustrating, but used exercise equip is sooo hard to sell. Sometimes you will get lucky. I put my set of Powerblocks (worth about $400) on ebay (because I got Selectechs and like them better) Some guy bought them for MORE than I paid and paid $100 shipping also! Crazy. But most of the time, I end up donating stuff, treadmills, wt benches, etc...to a church and getting a tax receipt. It seems most every garage sale has some kind of exercise equp someone used once and wants to get rid of. Friend of mine just sold her pilates machine (same as mine from Q) and got $25 for it. You never know. I would try to sell and if not, donate it. I would rather donate than sell for $25 myself but that's a personal decision! Good luck!! foundinlv21276996574.845277 PostsRegistered 6/16/2010 Also, just wanted to let you know, when I sold my inversion table I got close to $200 for it. It would have been much more brand new and if someone can't find an item locally they know they will end up paying a lot for shipping. The gentleman who purchased it from me was very happy with it. It was in perfect condition but about 5 years old, I kid you not. Girlo1277010128.992935 PostsRegistered 1/20/2007 On 6/18/2010 PUMPKIN said: Exactly what I am in the market for. Wish we were closer. trubrit1277061799.753654 PostsRegistered 6/20/2008 why would you want to get rid of it ?, i ask because i am in the process of doing research into the pilates machine, treadmill or total gym before i purchase one. I have also seen a pilates chair on HSN looks interesting !
