WEN

I've finally realized that Wen is not worth the price and as soon as I finish what I have, I will not repurchase.

Does my hair look nice after Wen? Yes. Does my hair look nice after cheaper products that I've researched online or Youtube (Aussie Moist, Dove shampoos and conditioners)? Yes!

Wen is NOT worth the price! I gave it the old college try-4 months and I will no longer repurchase. I've used Pom, SAM, Lavender, Fig, WVM AND 613 even and although my hair looks good, it is absolutely not worth the ludicrous price. Maybe it is because I don't color-treat my hair or use hot irons or curlers, the difference it makes is not noticeable. I can see it being kind of worth the price if you have colored hair and want to last longer between visits. I still have half a bottle of 613, a third of a bottle of WVM, and an entire bottle of fig and can't wait till they're done.

Good for you. I came to the same realization quite some time ago. I like Loreal EverPure and John Frieda Root Awakening.

Ita, I tried it and it's $ down the drain. Try the brand Organix. Sulfate free and great scents. Also, google Kiss My Face great organic products. Awesome shampoo and conditioners for much less than Wen.

It is very expensive and if I had to live on my tiny SS check without my hubby's retirement check, (small that they are) no way could I afford it either. In fact if he knew what a bottle of it cost, he'd probably keel over in a faint. I'm hoping I do have great results like most of you because my hair is getting thinner as I get older. So if I don't see wonderful results after I get most of mine used up,l"ll probably go back to using other brands to, I used to use a brand from Sally's called ION that I really liked.

We all need to find and use what works for us. wen is my HG for haircare. I've been using it for 5+ years...so for me and IMO it is absolutely worth the price.

I was going to try a Wen again, but I saw the prices! NO. I cannot justify $60 for shampoo/conditioner. My hair looks fine. It is nice to alternate between shampoo and Wen, but I just can't. I had bought a sampler to try, expensive but nope...

I tried to get my daughters to use Wen and no matter

what I told them about the product ...they would not

buy it.... The shampoos that they used from the Salons

where they had they hair cut & styled were also just as

expensive.... But each time they visit our home they

would use my Wen...

Daughters ...Sons in law & grand babies... were all using

the Wen I had been pushing on them for years....

Now they will not use anything else...But WEN!

You might want to consider trying Hair One. You can get it your nearest Sally's Beauty Supply or www.sallybeauty.com. It's $11.99 each 12 oz bottle, but if you get a discount card, it's $10.49 a bottle. I have tried Hair One, it's okay, but I like Wen better.

There is also Lisa Rachel. It's $7.99 a bottle. I can't tell you if it's good or not since I haven't tried it yet.

We all need to save money where we can- and we all find different ways to do that. I like what WEN does for me and will continue to use it. I'm a saver by nature, but WEN is a pretty cheap extra for me. I just changed my cell phone plan and I'm saving just over $125.00 a year with the new plan - WEN doesn't cost me that much. I'm safe for a while.

No reason at all that we all need to save money the same way. Just try to put aside some dollars here and there - you'll love it when you reach my age!

I totally get where you're coming from, but for me it's the one thing I afford myself. My hair is noticeably different with WEN...much better and it makes me feel good. My husband went without work for two years while I was at home with the kids and it was so hard. Couldn't afford a cup of coffee at times and almost lost our house. We squeaked by with family helping out with food and diapers and somehow managed to keep our house. Now my hubby has a great job (thank God!) and I haven't splurged on anything else. I'm wearing the same shoes and clothes that I have for years, but I'll be darned if my hair doesn't look like a million bucks! My hubby loves it too....It's WEN for me forever! (Or at least until my stockpile runs out...) Ps...in the past when we were both working, I used every kind of expensive and fancy shampoo/conditioner and NOTHING compares to WEN for my hair! But if you don't notice a difference, heck...get the cheaper stuff...I would!

37, Brown hair, blue eyes, 2 lovely kiddos. I use WEN, Mally, Dr. Denese, Josie Maran, and Philosopy

If drugstore shampoo and conditioner works for some of you, then you should use it, but there are also many people who aren't happy with that. If you're used to buying salon products, WEN really isn't any more expensive.

Only one pump? My bottle said to use like 4 pumps per section of hair for shoulder length. That's a ton of Wen. Is that correct, really just one pump? I'm assuming that is from the $60 size correct? THAT isn't bad at all.

Explain please?

This is sort of ironic. I have finally realized that nothing comes close to making my hair look and feel as good as WEN. I also love the entire philosophy WEN is built upon.

Wen is expensive, but no more than other products sold in salons. I really wish Wen was less expensive, though.

While I wish Wen was less expensive, I will not go back to regular shampoo/conditioner. I tried Hair One after using my BFF's Wen. It worked ok, but not even close to the results I had with just one time using Wen.
I have a very hectic job and life (not that other people don't). I love that with Wen, it takes so much less time for me to "do my hair". I usually use no other product than the CC. I dry my hair and that's it. I do occasionally flat iron, but even that takes no time now after I smooth it with a paddle brush while drying it.
I also like the "therapy" part of it. If I know that no matter how harried I am & my hair looks good, it definately boosts my mood.

True or false: if we're all here, then we must not be all there.

To me it is not worth it since I have had great results using Drugstore products.

Witchy Woman1330381417.2832660 PostsRegistered 12/17/2005

I've been doing conditioner only for years and use whatever product I have on hand at the time...normally Pureology, Lanza or some other salon brand. My results are no different than I got when I was using Wen (I purchased it when it first came out on QVC). In fact I tried it two different times and....just decided that I didn't see that much difference.

So now, I use conditioner only maybe 2-3 times and then shampoo. My hair looks great and I have very fine, color treated, naturally curly hair. Contrary to what is stated, not ALL other products strip color. In fact, I lost color faster using Wen.
