I think she looks great for her age, are you kidding? The woman is what, 70? She's toned down her lipstick and her lips don't look so big, now. She's obviously had work done, but I think she looks amazing for her age. Part of it is a bit of weight gain, her face has filled out. But how many ladies her age look this good?

They used to wouldn't do a close shot on her, they will, now. I guess she got something else done, plus she toned her lips down....

I think the dates on the photos have been reversed. I'm sure she's had work done. The problem with plastic surgery is if the doctors does a poor job, your face is ruined forever. Burt Reynolds looks like a walking corpse thanks to bad plastic surgery.

Many years ago when she used to have her own salons there was an Adrien Arpel salon in a dept store near my house. It smelled so wonderful in there.

I remember buying an almond scrub once that smelled good enough to eat. And it was wonderful too. I think her original line was better than her products are now.

Also had a book written by her back when I was a teen. It came out in 1977 I think. Way back then, Adrien was warning of the damage to skin from overexposure to the sun. Which was ahead of the curve because at that time most experts and magazines were saying that UVB rays were bad but that the UVA rays were not. She was saying it was all bad. And this was long before a lot of other people did.

How many ladies her age have her money to do such dramatic things to their faces? ?

She has for sure had work done. It looks like the more recent photo is airbrushed as well as she doesn't look nearly so crack-free on tv. She's a hoot and I love watching her! It's mesmerizing. LOL!

The picture on the right was taken from the HSN website. I always thought it was a picture of showhost, Shannon, who does a lot of the SCA shows.

She's worked very hard since being a young woman to have the success she has had. I don't care what she does with her money because it's her money.

It is from using the skincare she sells.

If I worked as much as both Joan and Adrienne and made as much money as they have, I would be the next person on the operating table for a full face-lift, neck lift, tummy tuck, etc. What anyone does is their business and if they are happy, what would you care or anyone else care????????{#emotions_dlg.mad}

I'm excited because I can afford fillers often and botox when needed and I hope to be at the point where I CAN have a face/neck lift! I would do it now at 54 and AGAIN at 64 if needed!

It is her money. Joan's money is her money, etc.

I haven't seen her in a while but I used to love the looks on the model's faces when she was pulling and tugging (especially Linda's).

It's like - Man, I haven't done this much damage to my skin in years!

Love Adrienne. Smile

I was a fan of Adrian's many years ago, and still am, but I have to say I'm kind of horrified by what she has had done to herself.....but then again, I've never seen her in person, and have no clue as to what she might look like 'in real life', just on TV.

It makes it hard for the rest of us 'naturally aging' people to have to be compared to all of these 'restructured' babes....I'd like to see everyone with what Mother Nature gave them.

Joan Rivers is another woman who has worked very hard since a young woman. I can remember when she did stand up on the Ed Sullivan Show and she had her longer hair up in a ponytail.

Both of these women worked very hard and became very successful at a time when it was very hard for women to be that successful. They have the money because they earned it, not because they were kept women or empty headed floozies.

Regardless of whether or not any of us would have that much done to our faces I think if you have worked this hard and made a name for yourself and been this successful then you have a right to do whatever you want with your money.

I may not agree with what they do all the time but I admire both these women and they are great examples for any young woman today who thinks it's not possible to succeed if you are a woman.

She and Joan Rivers both look like clowns. Their faces do not move- tons and tons of makeup on- Adrien has eye liner from He*l*l- what is up with the black liner????

I think she looks great! And more power to her for having work done. I just hope she doesn't imply that it's from her skin care line.

Is she really trying to make women believe that? If so, that's very mis-leading to the public.
