Don't you hate it when dumb animals can do something so easily, that you never managed to get the hang of? I never could double dutch {#emotions_dlg.crying} Cute dog, looks like one I had when I was a young teen.

Well everyone, I was never very good at double dutch, so I really appreciate this sweet furry one's talent.

Clemintine, good luck to your niece's daughters!

I saw this on tv yesterday. amazing!

Oh, and I agree - animals aren't dumb. In many ways they are smarter than humans. :) They are smart in ways that count.

They talk in their own way, and if you are in tune with them you would understand.

That dog looks like he's having so much fun! I wonder why the piece of wood on the ground? It seems like it might not feel great to jump on but he seems not to mind.

I wouldn't feel bad about an animal having better co-ordination than I do...many are built for that. I would feel bad if an animal could do math better than I can.

I think that piece of wood is there for the rope to hit......otherwise, it's hitting the dirt and digging a small hole...........................raven

Yep, or possibly because it's his 'spot' to jump on so that he's really in the middle. Adorable - thanks for the thread, Twiz!

I think that's so the dog knows where to start jumping. I agree, that's got to hurt. He seems to be having fun though.

Hi, Clover. Animals may not speak our language; but they really do communicate. Not dumb at all. Smile

If you read the description by the person who uploaded the video, towards the end she says that the piece of wood is there so that "Mo" knows where her sweet spot is, since her natural instinct is to move closer and closer to her people. It gives her a mark to stay at.
